Key takeaways
- Exact model match: Compare the listed model with the one printed on the back of your phone. Small differences between generations change the fit.
- Drop protection: Look for raised edges around the screen and camera, plus a shock-absorbing corner design. Military-grade drop claims are only useful when the construction supports them.
- Magnetic options: Magnetic cases can support magnetic accessories on some phones, but check whether the phone itself supports that feature before paying extra.
- Screen protection: A tempered glass protector is usually more effective than a film. Check whether the protector is included and how many you get in a pack.
- Grip and thickness: A slim case keeps the phone pocketable, while a rugged case adds bulk. Choose based on how you carry the phone day to day.
Older budget phones such as the iPhone SE (3rd generation) and several Motorola G models are still in regular use, and their owners often look for protection first. The right case or screen protector depends on the phone model, the level of drop protection you need, and whether you want magnetic compatibility. This roundup focuses on accessories for those phones so you can protect a device you already own.
Accessory listings often name several phone models in one title, so confirm the exact model before you buy. Cutouts for cameras, buttons, and speakers differ between generations, and a case that is close but not exact can leave edges exposed or block a button.

The Best Picks Reviewed
YENAPOON Case for iPhone SE (3rd and 2nd Gen), Matte Black
This matte black case is listed for the iPhone SE 2022 and 2020 models, and it is also listed for iPhone 8 and 7. It has a slim, frosted back, a screen protector included in the listing, and magnetic compatibility. Confirm the model before ordering, since the older iPhone 7 and 8 fit is not the same as the SE.
Ailun 3-Pack Screen Protector for iPhone SE 2020 and 2022
A three-pack of screen protectors is useful for buyers who expect to replace one over time. Check that the protector matches your SE generation, and apply it in a dust-free area to avoid bubbles. Keep a spare on hand, since protectors wear out faster than cases.
Warsia Case for Moto G 5G 2022 with Screen Protector
This rugged case is listed for the Moto G 5G 2022 and includes a screen protector. Its heavy-duty build suits buyers who work outdoors or are hard on their phones. Expect extra thickness, and check that the port and button cutouts are clear.
Aozuoton Case for Moto G Stylus 5G 2022
The Aozuoton case is listed for the Moto G Stylus 5G 2022 and includes an HD screen protector and a ring holder. The ring is useful for one-handed grip, but check that it does not interfere with the stylus or the port.
SUPFINE Magnetic Case for iPhone SE 2022 and 2020
The SUPFINE magnetic case is listed for the SE 2022 and 2020 models. Its magnetic design can suit buyers who use magnetic mounts, but confirm that your phone supports the magnetic accessory you plan to use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do these cases fit the exact model I own?
They fit the models named in each listing, but a single case may cover several generations. Check the model name on the back of your phone and compare it with the listing’s compatibility list before buying.
Is a screen protector included with the case?
Some listings include one, and others sell it separately. Check the item description for the exact contents, and do not assume that a protector is in the box.
Are magnetic cases worth it?
They are useful if you use magnetic mounts, wallets, or chargers. If you do not use magnetic accessories, a standard case with good drop protection is usually enough.
How do I apply a tempered glass protector without bubbles?
Clean the screen thoroughly, align the protector slowly, and press from the center outward. Use the included alignment tray if one is provided, and keep the room free of dust while you work.
Final Thoughts
For an iPhone SE, the YENAPOON case and the SUPFINE magnetic case cover everyday protection, with the Ailun protector pack as a sensible addition. For Moto G owners, the Warsia rugged case suits harder use, while the Aozuoton case suits buyers who want a ring holder and a stylus-friendly design. Confirm the exact model before you order any of them.
